You have heard stuff like – you need so many ounces of water for how many pounds you weigh and you need 8 cups of water for every cup of coffee you have. Does that make any sense to you?
Your water in take is based on 3 Factors:
Environment – Activity – Diet
If you live in the desert, you will need more water than if you lived in a forest where it is more humid. That’s logical.
If you have a bad diet, eat processed food and not enough fresh fruit and vegetables in their raw natural state, you will need more water.
If you run around and chase your kids all day you will need more water. When you are working out vigirously you will need more water. If you talk to people all day you will need more water. These activities are dehydrateing folks.
If you drink Coffee or have Caffeine – Get rid of it. Caffeine is a diuretic and robs your body of fluid and ruins your kidneys and shuts down your liver. And it will affect your body for 4 to 5 hours and give you headaches if you stop drinking it. Does that sound like it’s good for you?
80 to 100 oz of water a day is an average for most and
If you leave in a dry climate maybe you need 200 oz.
Come on people, drink, drink, drink!
