The Gold Standard SPF for Melasma & Hyperpigmentation
If you have melasma, dark spots, or hyperpigmentation, your sunscreen isn't just protection — it's treatment. The Mesoprotech Melan 130 Pigment Control by Mesoesthetics is a professional-grade tinted facial sunscreen with very high photoprotection (UVB 131 / UVA 67) specifically formulated for skin with pigmentary imperfections — combining advanced UV filters with an active pigment-controlling ingredient to prevent new spots from forming while protecting existing discoloration from worsening.
Tinted for a natural, imperceptible finish. Water-resistant. The sunscreen of choice for clients undergoing depigmentation treatments and melasma protocols.
What Makes It Different
-
Exceptional photoprotection — UVB 131 + UVA 67 with biological HEV+ filters that protect against UV, visible light, and blue light — all of which trigger and worsen melasma and hyperpigmentation
-
Potassium Azelaoyl Diglycinate (Azeloglycine) — A pigment-controlling active that inhibits melanin synthesis, prevents the appearance of new spots, and promotes a more even, brighter skin tone
-
Tinted emulsion — Provides a natural, imperceptible tone that evens the complexion while protecting it — suitable for daily wear with or without makeup
-
Water-resistant formula — Maintains protection during perspiration and outdoor activity
Why HEV (Visible Light) Protection Matters for Melasma
Standard sunscreens protect against UV rays — but melasma and hyperpigmentation are also triggered by visible light (HEV/blue light), including indoor lighting and screens. Melan 130's biological HEV+ filters provide protection that standard SPF products cannot, making it the clinically preferred choice for melasma-prone skin.
Who It's For
Formulated for melasma, hyperpigmentation, dark spots, post-inflammatory pigmentation (PIH), sun damage, and anyone who wants to prevent skin discoloration. Ideal for use during and after depigmentation treatments and brightening protocols. By Mesoesthetics.
How To Use
Shake before use. Apply the recommended amount (2 mg/cm² of skin) to clean, dry skin 30 minutes before sun exposure. Apply three times daily — morning, noon, and afternoon. Reapply every two hours during direct sun exposure and after towel drying, swimming, or perspiring.
Sun safety note: Wear sunglasses and a hat during peak sun hours (11 AM – 4 PM). Reducing the recommended dose significantly reduces the level of protection.
