PHOTO DYNAMIC ACNE TREATMENT

This clinical treatment utilizes Blue LED light to activate a medication called 5-aminolevulinic acid, working to reduce acne by shrinking the sebaceous (Oil-producing)glands of the skin. This reduces the amount of oil in each pore (The acne bacteria thrives on oil) thus directly targeting the p. acne bacteria that lives on the skin surface and causes acne breakouts.

A metabolic peel is performed followed by thorough extractions and then the medicine or organic compound is applied with microchanneling/needling and incubated in the skin along with Blue LED for 20 minutes. It is then thoroughly removed and a hydrating. soothing mask is applied to calm redness, irritation followed by Red LED for another 20 minutes for healing and regeneration of healthy skin cells.

Can be also beneficial for rosacea and dermatitis skin conditions with a combination of alternate light and solutions.
